I remember when I went to my first class and a student was complaining about how hard it is for us younger kids to get classes. She resented the older students for taking up the places but honestly, I don’t blame them. I give props to them for going back to school to learn a new set of skills because the economy fucked them over. They have more responsibilities than us kids, they have mouths to feed and backs to clothe, so I honestly can’t resent them for their perseverance. Times are tough but we all just have to suck it up or do something about it. Plus if you think about it, it’s from their tax money we get financial aid, but they have to pay for classes out of their own pockets.

Bubble Boy
I was watching Philip Defranco on youtube and he made me realize something. Other than the fact that he’s right, this generation has raised their children to be pussies by sheltering them from everything and by doing so, the kids have only grown more corrupted. Generally speaking. Yes, bullying is wrong, can you rid the world of it? no because there will always be bad people in this world. I guess bullying now a days, in my opinion, in comparison to the hazing back in the days, or beating from parents (personal experience, asian parents), etc. is not that bad. In addition, through speaking to someone older who experienced it, they said it just made them stronger/tougher or more resistant to other ignorant people they meet later on in life. I know this doesn’t apply to everyone but it just seems like this younger generation likes to play victim and have pity parties. The older generations kind of just sucked it up and dealt with it, is that healthy no, but did it make them stronger? yes. These kids can’t go through life being sensitive to every mean word said to them, there will be people who like them and people who hate them, and sometimes they just can’t do anything about it. Random rant, it’s just my opinion and something I observed but hey I could be wrong.
